Professional Background

Dr. Tanna has been practicing for over 15 years. She received her master’s and doctorate degrees from the American School of Professional Psychology in the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating, Dr. Tanna spent time living and working abroad and then settled in New Jersey. She has been licensed to practice psychology in the State of New Jersey for three years until moving to Illinois. Dr. Tanna currently works as a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of California where she now resides. Her experience and skillset has been influenced by the various demographic areas she has lived and worked.

Philosophy

When it comes to her approach, Dr. Tanna believes that people are fundamentally resilient and their struggles, if understood, can be the source of their power. She helps clients find clarity while encouraging them to use their inner strength to guide themselves towards positive change and continual growth. Her therapeutic style is integrative; evidence-based and culturally informed which allows her to meet the various needs of clients effectively.

· 50-minute session is $200-$250    

· Sliding scale available

· Insurance not accepted

· Virtual appointments available at this time

Cancellation Policy

· Client’s can reschedule and cancel their appointment at any time, provided they give a 24-hour notice

· If appointment is cancelled less than 24-hours in advance (day of session), client will be asked to pay $100
